Menovone

Helps maintain a woman's well being before, during and after the menopause

What is Menovone?

Menovone is a one-a-day tablet that combines 60mg of slow-release isoflavones (from soya beans) with 8 vitamins (D, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12 and folic acid) and 3 minerals (boron, iodine and calcium), which are particularly important for women before, during and after the menopause.

Key Points and Benefits

  • Menovone contains isoflavones, natural plant compounds with a similar chemical structure to oestrogen and therefore with similar physiological effects. Our diets contain very little isoflavones compared to Asian cultures, where menopausal symptoms are virtually unknown.
  • It also provides a combination of vitamins and minerals that are needed to maintain health and wellbeing at this time of life, when hormonal changes are taking place.
  • It provides a significant amount (60mg) of isoflavones in one tablet for convenience, in a slow-release formula, which provides 24-hour support throughout the day and night.
  • Slow release isoflavones, are absorbed more slowly, providing sustained support throughout the day, closer to the situation where isoflavones are obtained naturally from a high soy diet.

Menovone guarantees to provide 60 mg of isoflavones in each one-a-day tablet.

How can this nutritional supplement benefit me?

Throughout a woman’s life, particularly from her late thirties to the menopause, her body is steadily changing and her nutritional needs will vary as time passes. With today’s hectic lifestyle it’s not always easy to eat a balanced diet, so occasionally you may be missing out on some of the nutrients necessary for helping to keep pace with these changing demands.

Menovone is a nutritional supplement that helps safeguard the intake of essential vitamins and minerals like vitamins D, E, B6 and folic acid; as well as providing isoflavone-rich extracts from soya beans. Menovone tablets are specially formulated to help maintain wellbeing and ensure an optimum intake of many important nutrients during the menopause and beyond.

What are isoflavones?

Isoflavones are naturally occurring compounds found in many plant foods, such as grains, lentils and beans, with soya beans being one of the richest sources. Isoflavones have a similar chemical structure to the hormone oestrogen and therefore have similar (although weaker) physiological effects. For this reason they are known as phytoestrogens or plant oestrogens. There is evidence that women going through the menopause can help maintain health and wellbeing by eating a diet high in natural isoflavones.

Can I get enough isoflavones from my diet?

Ideally, we should get isoflavones from dietary sources. However, surveys in past years have shown that the average UK diet tends to provide less that 3mg per day while the average intake in some Asian cultures can be as high as 80mg. Scientists now widely believe that this discrepancy could be a key reason for the differences experienced by women of Eastern and Western cultures as they mature.
