Why Wassen Zinc-ACE?

Wassen Zinc-ACE is a one-a-day tablet combining the mineral zinc with vitamins A, C and E as well as selected nutrients. It helps maintain a healthy immune system as well as maintaining healthy skin and supporting reproductive health.

The refining of cereal grains removes significant amounts of zinc from staple foods. Also a reduction in consumption of animal derived protein has contributed to the fact that possibly around 40% of the adult population receives less than the Reference Nutrient Intake for this key mineral.

Unlike products which contain zinc alone, Wassen Zinc-ACE provides zinc in combination with other nutritional co-factors to help complement the various functions of this trace mineral.

Zinc is required in sufficient amounts for optimal immune function and antioxidant cell protection. To complement these functions vitamins C, E, Beta-carotene and citrus bioflavonoids have been added.

B-complex has been included in the formulation as B vitamins are required for high energy dependent processes in the body, including immunity. In addition vitamin B6, Folic Acid and vitamin B12 are important for the detoxification of homocysteine, a damaging molecule, from the body.
