What is Pollen?

Pollen is the male germ seed of flowering plants. It is produced by flowers and is the reproduction of a myriad of plant life. Whilst the nutritional content of pollen varies, it is a rich source of many vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes.

Bee pollen is a rich mix of various micronutrients and it is believed that it is the synergy of the many nutrients contained in pollen that is important.

Each one-a-day tablet provides:

Pollen (bee-collected) 165 milligrams

(The pollen has been finely ground to facilitate easier absorption of the nutrients provided by this food-like substance)

Suitable for vegetarians.

Free from gluten, sucrose and yeast.

Directions for Adults:

One tablet to be swallowed with liquid if required first thing every morning or last thing at night, on an empty stomach. A regular intake is recommended.

As pollen is ingested via the oral route, it does not come into contact with the tissues of the nasal passages and eyes, and therefore rarely causes an allergic reaction in hay fever sufferers. However, those with a known allergy to bee products should avoid the product.
