Main constituents and their nutritional roles
Omega–3 Fish Oil
Fish oil naturally contains EPA and DHA. These essential fatty acids have been found to have a multitude of functions in the body.
EPA may exert a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and inflammatory conditions. The latter may include joint and skin conditions. The latest research indicates that DHA plays an important part in brain and eye function.
EPA and DHA are incorporated into all the body’s cells, but are especially abundant in nerve relay stations, adrenal and sex glands, some of the most active tissues in the body. DHA is more predominantly found in brain cells and visual receptors.
Vitamin E
This vitamin is added to the fish oil in order to protect it from oxidation.
Who could benefit from taking Wassen Omega-3 Fish Oil?
- Those who are unable to incorporate oily fish in the diet on a regular basis.
- Those who are looking for nutritional support for the maintenance of a healthy cardiovascular system.
- Those who wish to help maintain joint mobility
- Those who suffer from inflammatory conditions.
As fewer people now regularly include oily fish in their diet, the Omega-3 fatty acids from which EPA and DHA are derived tend to be in lower supply in the average diet. For this reason many people may benefit from supplementing with Omega-3 Fish Oil.
Possible Intolerance
