About the product

Magnesium-B provides the essential mineral magnesium combined with vitamin B6, additional B-complex vitamins and vitamin C. The mineral magnesium helps play a key role in maintaining energy levels and has to be available in adequate amounts for healthy bones, muscles and nerves.

Main constituents and their nutritional roles

Magnesium-B provides magnesium for both men and women. Each tablet contains 100% of the EC recommended daily amount of magnesium (300 mg). According to government surveys it would appear that the average UK diet tends to be lower than ideal in magnesium content.

Magnesium is responsible for over 300 enzyme reactions in the body. It is required in sufficient amounts for optimal energy levels.

Vitamin B6 and magnesium enjoy a special relationship, as both nutrients require each other’s presence for optimal function and absorption.

Vitamin C has antioxidant properties and is found in high concentration in the adrenal glands, where hormones are produced.

B-complex vitamins have been added to complement vitamin B6, whilst betaine hydrochloride helps with the absorption of nutrients.

Who could benefit from taking Magnesium-B?

  • Those who lead a demanding and hectic life.
  • Those with physically demanding jobs or hobbies.
  • Anyone in good health but experiencing low energy levels.

Possible Intolerance

If taken in large amounts the mineral magnesium may have a laxative effect.
