Genesis is a one-a-day multivitamin and mineral nutritional supplement that is designed to safeguard the intake of key nutrients on a daily basis and so help maintain general well being and vitality. Genesis provides seven essential vitamins and 9 essential minerals.
Main constituents and their nutritional roles
MAGNESIUM
The mineral magnesium is found in whole grains, nuts, seeds and green leafy vegetables. These foods are in short supply in the modern diet, which often consists to a large part of refined and processed foods.

~ Enzymes involved in energy production require sufficient magnesium to function optimally.

ANTIOXIDANTS
Vitamin A: Protects mucous membranes throughout the body making them more resistant to infection. Also very important for maintaining eye health.
Vitamin C: Immune boosting vitamin and very important antioxidant. It regenerates vitamin E. Needed for collagen formation.
Vitamin E: Protects cell membranes against oxidation. Helps maintain for cardiovascular health.
Function of other components in Genesis
Vitamin D, together with magnesium, plays a key role in the maintenance of bone health.
Vitamins B1, B2 and B6 are needed for energy production and healthy nerves. In addition vitamin B6 takes part in the building and regeneration of the body's tissues.
Zinc is required for efficient tissue repair as well as the proper synthesis of enzymes, hormones and various brain chemicals. It supports the immune and reproductive systems.
Iron is needed for healthy blood in order to transport oxygen and nutrients around the body in an efficient way.
Other essential minerals and trace elements have been added for their importance in maintaining good health in all areas.
